Hey there 🍪 Before you click "Accept All" on autopilot, here's what's actually going on.
We use cookies on sukudostudios.com to keep the site working, understand what's useful to visitors, and occasionally remember that you prefer dark mode or Hindi over Japanese. No mystery meat. No weird tracking for tracking's sake. Just the essentials plus a few optional ones you can toggle whenever you like.
This policy explains what cookies we use, why, and how to say "nope" to the ones you don't want. Short version below, full details underneath.
01. What is a cookie, anyway?
TL;DR — A cookie is a tiny text file your browser tucks away when you visit a site. No crumbs, no calories.
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit. It stores little bits of info — like whether you're logged in, what language you picked, or a unique ID — so the site can remember you between pages or across visits.
Cookies can't access other files on your device, and they can't run programs or deliver viruses. They're just passive data snippets — but because they can be used for tracking, you have every right to decide which ones you're okay with.
"Cookies" is also shorthand in this policy for similar technologies we may use, like local storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs.
02. Why we use them
We use cookies to:
Keep the site running smoothly (security, load balancing, form submissions).
Remember your preferences (language toggle: English, Hindi, Spanish, Japanese — and which region you're browsing from).
Understand which pages, services, and blogs resonate with our visitors so we can improve them.
Measure whether our occasional ads and social posts are actually helpful to the people who see them.
Prevent spam, abuse, and fraud on our contact and quote-request forms.
We do not use cookies to sell your data, and we don't allow anyone to do cross-site behavioural profiling for advertising purposes through our site.
03. The four types we use
🟢 Essential cookiesAlways on
These make the site work. Without them, basic stuff breaks — think: form submissions, remembering that you accepted cookies, security, and preventing bots from spamming our "Request Quote" form. Because they're strictly necessary, they're set by default and don't require your consent under most privacy laws.
Examples: session IDs, CSRF protection tokens, the cookie-banner preference itself, CAPTCHA anti-bot cookies.
🔵 Functional cookiesOptional
These remember your choices so the site feels personal — your language selection, region, whether you closed a banner, etc. They don't track you across the internet; they just make your return visit less repetitive.
Examples: language/locale preference, UI state (closed banners, theme).
🟡 Analytics cookiesOptional
These tell us, in aggregate, how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where people drop off, how fast our pages load. We use this to improve the experience. We don't use analytics cookies to identify individuals.
Examples: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), page-view counters, session-duration metrics.
🟣 Marketing cookiesOptional
These help us measure whether our ads and social campaigns are reaching the right people — for example, whether someone who saw our LinkedIn post actually came to the site and requested a quote. If you opt out, you'll still see ads online, but they just won't be tied to your visit with us.
Examples: Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads conversion pixels.
04. First-party vs. third-party
Cookies are also classified by who sets them:
First-party cookies are set directly by sukudostudios.com. These are usually the essential and functional ones.
Third-party cookies are set by services we embed on our site — for example, a YouTube video embedded from a showreel, Google Analytics, or a social-media share button. These are governed by the respective provider's cookie and privacy policies (see Section 7).
05. Session vs. persistent
And by how long they stick around:
Session cookies disappear the moment you close your browser. They're the digital equivalent of a sticky note.
Persistent cookies hang around for a defined period (from a few days to a couple of years) so the site can recognise you on return visits.
06. Cookies we set (the list)
Here's a representative list of cookies that may be set on your device when you visit our site. The exact names and durations depend on the exact services active at the time — we update this list when things change.

Note: if we add new tools (e.g., a chat widget or new analytics provider), the table will be updated. You can also run a live cookie scan in your browser's developer tools under Application → Cookies to see exactly what's active on your visit.
07. Third-party services
Some cookies are set by tools we rely on. Each has its own privacy practices — we recommend checking their policies for full detail:
Google Analytics & Google Ads — Google Privacy Policy
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — Meta Privacy Policy
LinkedIn Insight Tag — LinkedIn Privacy Policy
YouTube (embedded videos) — Google/YouTube Privacy Policy
X (Twitter) embeds & social buttons — X Privacy Policy
We don't share personal data with these services beyond what's strictly needed for them to work as described. Your consent to optional cookies (analytics, marketing) is what activates them.
08. How to manage your cookies
TL;DR — Use our cookie settings to opt in or out of optional cookies at any time. Essentials are always on because the site needs them.
When you first visit our site, you'll see a cookie banner. You can:
Accept all cookies.
Reject all optional cookies (essentials will still load).
Choose category by category which cookies you're okay with.
Changed your mind later? No problem. You can reopen the settings any time using the button below or the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer.
Adjust your cookie preferences
Open the settings and tick only the boxes you're comfortable with.

09. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Note: if you block essential cookies, parts of the site (like form submissions) may stop working.

On mobile, you can usually manage cookies and tracking in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Tracking on iOS; Settings → Privacy on Android).
10. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Your browser may let you send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to websites you visit. Because there's no universal standard for how sites should interpret DNT, we currently do not respond to DNT signals. However, where required by applicable law (such as certain U.S. state privacy laws), we honour GPC signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing of personal information — although we don't sell personal information in the first place.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over how your personal data (including data collected via cookies) is processed. These may include the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. This applies under laws such as:
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act);
The EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws.
For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy. To exercise any of these rights, email us at business@sukudostudios.com.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — when we add new tools, change vendors, or when the law evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be flagged on our site or via our cookie banner so you can review your choices again.
